This is a 6 week course in which Lisa will teach specific strategies for managing common parenting issues with kids ages 3-18. In addition, through the latest research in neuroscience, she will help parents understand the science behind their children’s behavior, preparing them to parent more effectively.

This course is very interactive, and includes topics such as the following:

Learn how to develop a Whole Brain Child with a No Drama discipline approach
Learn the science behind how Empathy and Connection strengthen the effectiveness of your parenting
Replace lectures and threats with more productive parenting strategies
Put an end to arguing, back talk, an begging
Have more fun parenting and feel less drained

Cost of the Course & How Do I Pay?

The course costs $210 for the entire six-week series (just $35 per week!), which includes the Love and Logic workbook, along with other handouts during the course.

Payment options include: Venmo, Paypal, Zelle, or personal checks. In all cases, the payment must be received at least 1 week prior to the start of the course so that the appropriate number of books and materials can be acquired, and the appropriate room reserved.

Refunds can only be made prior to 1 week before the course. Partial refunds won’t be made for those who can’t attend all weeks of the course.

Parking is plentiful and you can park very close to the community center.

This is a fast-paced course that will be packed into a little over an hour each week, so please
Arrive 10 minutes early!
to get yourself situated and ready to go.

Feel free to bring your lunch.

We highly recommend attending in person. While Lisa will do her best to make the course interactive over Zoom, the best experience will be through in-person attendance and participation.

Zoom

The Zoom link will be sent out to every attendee after registering for the course.

When you join the course you will be placed into a waiting room until Lisa’s capable assistant connects you to the seminar.

While participating in the course, you will see Lisa and her presentation. There is no plan for you to be visible to the in-person participants (you don’t need to have your camera on).

Your mic will be muted throughout most of the presentation. But if you want to ask a question, type into the Zoom chat either the question itself or that you’d like to ask a question, and your mic will be unmuted for you to ask the question and interact with Lisa and the group.

There will be parts of the seminar where all mic’s will be unmuted for dynamic interaction among all participants.

Join the Zoom 5 to 10 minutes early!
If you arrive after the course has started, there may be delay getting you connected from the waiting room.

And YES, you can attend via Zoom if you signed-up for In-Person attendance, and vice-versa! But please let Lisa know when/if your plans change so she can ensure that enough space is allocated at Riverbend.

The course workbook will be available at the first session on March 22. If you will be participating via Zoom, the workbooks can be picked up at Lisa’s office, or mailed to you for a separate fee.
